Dedication
Attending your first training sessions is pretty easy for most people. Its something new and exciting that could dramatically change your life. You can walk in to a gym, train with me for thrity minutes or an hour and leave feeling confident and happy about your accomplishment. You will probably even wake up the next day a little sore. When its time for the next session you might share similar enthusiasm but this time you have already "been there and done that". The question is how will you feel after the fourth, tenth or twentieth time training at the gym or at home?

Once you have a flexible fitness training schedule, whether your sessions are twice a week or more, make sure you are ready to dedicate some time to it. Need a day off? Take it. Don't even hesitate. Whether spending a night with your family, getting home from work late or you are just simply very tired. We all have personal and family responsibilities that are definitely a higher priority. Just avoid the trap of compounding excuses that do not exist in an effort to avoid working out. This will almost certainly lead to complete avoidance of the gym and a membership still being paid that is never used. If life becomes extremely hectic and finding time to exercise becomes difficult, what should you do? As the final "D" of my philosophy states, stay focused and determined through it all.
