I used to be one of those to be one of those trainers in a nationally recognized gym. I decided to leave and train people on my own after finding out they measured a trainer's success not on how happy a client was with their fitness results but on how many sessions we could sign up a client for.
There is more to fitness training than simply standing over a person showing them various exercises while barking commands. Getting yourself into the physical condition you want involves more mental preparation than physical.
